    French-Speaking UNESCO Chair in Linguistics and Didactics of languages in educational systems, established in 1995 at the University of Mons-Hainaut (Belgium); to promote training of decision makers as regards linguistic policies and education, to help the governments which wish it to solve the problems of bilingual or multilingual education; to work out and apply programs of mother tongues, second and foreign languages didactics in a functional way and to teach the methodology of languages and linguistic schemas d'aménagement.
