Promote a culture of peace by organizing international volunteer projects with local and global impact.
['Short-term international voluntary projects'], commonly known as 'workcamps'. Projects are organized in cooperation with member partner organizations, which in turn cooperates with local communities. Projects bring together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds to live and work together with local communities for a period if 2-3 weeks. They aim to break down barriers between people, develop intercultural understanding and contribute to building a culture of peace among people. Emphasis is placed on intercultural learning and include elements of peace education. ['Long-Term Volunteering (LTV)'] programme provides volunteers the opportunity to stay abroad from 2-12 months and support a variety of projects and activities, such as working with disabled people, disadvantaged youth or ethnic minorities, to working in an office or running daily activities in an eco-village. Long-term volunteers are provided with food, accommodation, pocket money and basic health insurance. Travel costs are generally covered by the volunteer. Organizes and coordinates trainings, seminars and meetings for volunteers throughout the year, in different countries.
