European Youth Forum

Objectives and Mission: 

The YFJ promotes young people’s democratic participation in youth organizations and societies and encourages them to develop a European awareness based on mutual respect and understanding through the cultivation of a conscience that respects the different European traditions. Priority issues: anti-racial training, culture, youth.The YFJ has three main goals:
Greater youth participation
Stronger youth organisations
Increased youth autonomy and inclusion

General description: 

The YFJ is the platform of youth organisations in Europe which organized conferences, trainings, information and networking days, hearings with institutions, etc... The Forum works to empower young people to participate actively in society to improve their own lives, by representing and advocating their needs and interests and those of their organisations towards the European Union, the Council of Europe and the United Nations.
