European Network Of Cultural Administration Training Centres

Objectives and Mission: 

Lead the way in development of cultural management within the context of great changes in the fields of culture, arts and media; improve training of cultural administrators in Europe and expand cooperation between centres organizing such training; facilitate exchange of information between training centres; advise European bodies on education and training policies for cultural administration and management; identify and support areas of research of interest to members; represent interests of the European cultural administration training centres at a European level; provide opportunities for training of trainers in arts management and cultural administration.

General description: 

ENCATC was founded to represent, advocate and promote cultural management and cultural policy education, professionalise the cultural sector to make it sustainable, and to create a platform of discussion and exchange at the European and international level.
