Intersection between Gender Equality and Quality Education in South-East Europe and selected Mediterranean
In most cases, girls have less access to education than boys do. This gender gap is the focus of SDG 4 and SDG 5, as these two intersects. Education access should not be limited despite their gender; therefore, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable development aims to fill in the gap between girls and boys in education. UNESCO Regional bureau for Science and Culture has conducted two studies to explore the intersection of Gender and Education.
