November 3, 2015, UNESCO Office in Afghanistan announced the launch of a nation-wide photo competition “Show us the Afghanistan you’re proud of” in order to portray the rich cultural and natural heritage of Afghanistan. The competition is open to all individuals regardless of their nationality.
UNESCO promotes the view and the strongly held conviction that cultural and natural heritage represent essential elements of nation building. UNESCO invites all Afghans and foreigners alike to capture and share the country’s stunningly diverse natural and cultural heritage through their photos.
We would like to thank all our stakeholders and partners who are involved in the awareness raising on Afghanistan’s heritage, in particular the Government of the Republic of Korea for providing the funding for this initiative.
