OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST
One of the top emerging actors in the Vietnamese private sector, SOVICO Group has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the nation’s sustainable development as part of its overall business model with a legacy of grants to different social, sports and cultural activities that demonstrate the importance of responsible business to the Group. Now, at the start of a new decade, with SOVICO Group able to expand its growth regionally and internationally, it can further position itself as a leader among Vietnamese corporations. The partnership signed in September 2020 between SOVICO Group and with the United Nations (UN) in Viet Nam marks an important milestone that highlights this global perspective of SOVICO Group and the values of its leadership. With the UN partnership now established, it is timely that the new vision established by SOVICO Group’s leadership be articulated into concrete actions, including the creation of a fund which will allow the Group to invest in actions that support the sustainable development of Viet Nam in areas of particular interest to the group e.g. youth, heritage etc.
In this regard, a strategic dialogue towards an innovative corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy for SOVICO Group is organized with the following objectives:
