UNFCCC, a key partner of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD, launched the 2017 Global Youth Video Competition in partnership with UNDP-GEF Small Grants Programme, and implemented by Television for the Environment-tve. The competition invites young people to share their efforts in combating climate change.
The two categories are Climate friendly and resilient cities and Oceans and climate change. Two winners will be selected and will receive a roundtrip to COP 23 in Bonn, Germany. While there they will have the opportunity to assist the UNFCCC Newsroom team as a youth reporter. Entrants must be between the ages of 18 and 30, and videos showcasing their efforts should be a maximum of 3-minutes. The deadline for entries is 18 August.
