UNESCO has released a pioneering discussion paper pointing to a sharp increase in online violence against women journalists and dissecting the orchestrated campaigns behind this toxic phenomenon. The Chilling: Global trends in online violence against women journalists was presented on 30 April 2021 at an online panel discussion held in the framework of the World Press Freedom Conference.
