Description: National Polytechnic school. The UNDP has concluded an agreement with the Government of Ecuador for the training of engineers in order to meet the demand of industry. through the present agreement, the National Polytechnic School will undertake technological research activities which experience may show desirable; set up specialized courses in science and technology for secondary school teachers and in general, upgrade the quality of instruction and curricula. UNESCO is responsible for the implementation of this project.
