Qualified researcher, Center of Studies and Research on Values, Rabita Mohammadia of Ulama (Morocco)

Yassine SOUIDI is a young Moroccan aged 31 who holds a Phd in Biology, specialty in Public Health. For the moment he holds the position as qualified researcher at the Center of Studies and Research on Values in Rabita Mohammadia of Ulama. He held several positions of responsibility in various national and international NGOs covering different topics such as youth empowerment, dialogue of civilizations, intercultural exchange, entrepreneurship and leadership. He has managed several innovative projects at national and international level. He has represented Morocco in the official delegation to several international events like the International Youth Forum in Mexico and the White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism in Washington.

For now he is focusing on training and development skills of young people in disadvantaged areas about radicalization and violent extremism. He led several training courses on community approaches against extremism for the benefit of civil society. He is a member of the communication’s select committee of the Global Coalition against Daesh. He is also interested in the analysis of public policies especially those of youth.
