Former CARICOM Youth Ambassador for St.Kitts and Nevis (2013-2015)

Former CARICOM Youth Ambassador (2013-2015), Miss Sonia Boddie is a well-known motivational speaker, youth leader, youth advocate and youth philanthropist in her native country of St. Kitts and Nevis. She is an active member of the UNESCO Youth for Human Rights Committee in her country and has conducted workshops training national educators in the area of Human Rights Awareness. She is also a columnist, and is very well respected for her no-nonsense commentaries tackling youth and social issues. She has used various media to encourage young persons to use the internet responsibly and positively and to avoid a life of crime and violence. In June 2015, Ms. Boddie participated in the UNESCO sponsored Youth and the Internet: Fighting Radicalization and Extremism Conference that was held in Paris. She holds an MSc in Public Administration and a BSc in International Relations and works as a Foreign Service Officer for her country.
