This collection of teaching and learning materials was released within the series of UNESCO Bangkok publications “Reorienting Teacher Education to Address Sustainable Development: Guidelines and Tools”. The publication offers approaches designed to for promoting sustainable development concepts, intercultural understanding and peace culture through education.

Philosophy Manual: A South-South Perspective

Through the promotion of South-South intellectual and philosophical dialogue, this manual seeks to encourage the development of diverse views by supporting and promoting the often little-known philosophical traditions of the metaphorical “South”. By providing educational resources aimed at teaching young people about the diversity of philosophical thought, the manual serves as an innovative and high-quality tool for young people in secondary and higher education, and in non-formal education. The Slave Route

The slave route project encourages new research in neglected regions, to define new approaches for the teaching of this history, to elaborate new guides for the identification, preservation and promotion of sites and itineraries of memory related to the slave trade and slavery, to promote the contributions of people of African descent to the construction of contemporary societies and finally to preserve written archives and intangible heritage related to this history.
