Intercultural dialogue through arts: Ant Mobility Funding

Event date: 29 Nov 2018

The Ant Mobility Funding is directed at individual artists and arts practitioners, as well as at bands, performing arts companies, collectives, festivals and arts organisations generally. Its focus is, on one hand, to assist in the distribution of new and existing works to a broader Southern African audience and to enable transnational collaboration and sharing of knowledge and expertise. On the other, it also deals with assisting individual artists and arts professionals (curators, organisers, arts managers, etc) to be able to travel across national borders in the region for the purposes of:

  • research and project development,
  • collaboration across national borders,
  • professional exchanges,
  • and touring/presentation of work.

Activities and Projects should involve mobility between two or more of the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Seychelles, Tanzania (including Zanzibar), Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Deadline: 30th November! Get detailed information on the Swiss Arts Council website!
