Axana Soltan is a Human Rights Lawyer named on Forbes 30 under 30 List. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University's Honors College, she made history as the first Afghan-American woman to deliver the Commencement Address at the Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. Soltan earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) with highest distinction, pursued an LL.M. at George Washington University School of Law, and completed training in negotiation, litigation, and arbitration at Harvard Law School. Soltan is currently an Eisenhower Scholar at the University of Oxford.
