During 2016, the Ministry of Public Works and housing of the Republic Indonesia held several workshops as a preparation for PrepCom3 (HABITAT III Preparatory Committee) and National Urban Agenda. The roadshow workshops have been held in at least 8 cities and all of them were involving young people.
The two main activities are:
1.    Put any comments, ideas, suggestions, and review the New Urban Agenda. The input will be the thematic paper that is important for the government.
2.    Reassuring the commitment to increase the human settlement quality in Indonesia that will help the nation for future policies.
Many young people from youth communities, organization and academician were invited to get involved directly in this policy-making process. Some youth attendees even were asked to be the rapporteur and moderator.
Some of the workshops bring different theme and sub-themes. One of the workshops held in Surakarta and Jakarta brought the sub-theme such as social cohesion, urban governance, economic development, and environmental issues.

Some of the comments from the social cohesion is to make sure that the marginalized youth and communities able to get involved directly to share their thought, ideas, and critique in every policy-making process, regardless the gender or sexual preference.
