H.R.H. Princess DANA FIRAS of Jordan

Her Royal Highness Princess Dana Firas, a fervent and passionate advocate of heritage protection, was designated UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in July 2017 in light of her commitment to heritage protection preservation as a pillar of sustainable development and her contribution to responsible tourism. 

As President of the Petra National Trust (PNT), she champions the protection of Petra, ancient Nabataean City in Southern Jordan that has been a World Heritage Site since 1985. The trust heavily invests in building a new generation of cultural leaders and activists through education. Dana Firas also raises awareness on the values of heritage.  In addition, her work in the office of Her Majesty Queen Noor led her to promote sustainable development, peace, and human rights in Jordan and in the world.
