New ERF Working Paper 31 on a “New Social Contract for Education” published

Education Research and Foresight (ERF) Working Paper 31 A New Social Contract for Education: Advancing a paradigm of relational interconnectedness is now published in English.

This working paper looks at recent calls for “a new social contract for education” through the essential relationships that connect humanity and a living planet. Taking a critical view of social contract theory, the paper looks at how calls to reimagine a “social contract” can be an entry point to a deeper paradigmatic shift in framing questions of justice, social organization, and trust in education.
