The Future of South-East Europe and the Mediterranean in the context of Climate Change: a UNESCO perspective
Organized by UNESCO through its Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe and scientific programmes (IHP, MAB and IOC), the symposium will establish dialogue on how climate change has affected regions, especially its water resources and the Mediterranean Sea.
Scientists, universities and research institutions, site managers, education specialists, local authorities, as well as youth for climate change will be in attendance.
The symposium seeks to address key climate change issues in South East Europe and the Mediterranean region. Its purpose is to contribute to a more climate resilient Mediterranean. This symposium will delve into responding effectively to UNESCO designated sites, in terms of nature and culture.
