Transformations in Multilateral Cooperation : The Case of Uzbekistan

Over the past recent years, new ways of cooperation have emerged to accelerate progress towards the 2030 goals. Private / public partnerships, multi-agency cooperation and community engagement have enabled progress in programme implementation. An example of such strategic shift can be seen in the work conducted by UNESCO in Uzbekistan.

Mr. Tawfik Jelassi UNESCO Assistant Director- General  for Communication and Information visited Uzbekistan from 27 to 30 october 2022 .  He participated in the International conference “Artificial intelligence, e-governance and freedom of information: innovation, inclusiveness and law” organized by the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with UNESCO within the framework of the International Day of Universal Access to Information.

Terms of Reference for electrical installation works

1. Electrical installation of electrical cable with connection of UNESCO Representative Office building at 9 Ergasheva str., to transformer 1708 Qazi Ternau. a. Turnkey work shall include the creation and approval of the project/plan with TashgorPES and UzEnergoInspection, execution of electrical installation works in accordance with the established norms and requirements, laying of electric cable up to 80 meters with power up to 40kVt, voltage 0.4 kV, installation of an ASKUE electric power meter. 2.
