The series called “Education for sustainable development at school” - ESD at school (Educação para o desenvolvimento sustentável na escola - EDS na escola), published only in Portuguese, consists of ten pedagogical guides on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Nine Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were selected for this series. However, it is worth remembering that all 17 SDGs are interconnected and are worked on throughout this series.
In each guide, there are suggestions for recreational activities to be adapted according to each school context. These activities can be used in both formal and non-formal education.
Teachers are essential actors in raising awareness for future generations and the school community as a whole. Therefore, this series is a reference tool for education professionals that wish to work with the SDGs at school.
