The project aims to empower adolescent girls and young women through quality education in conditions of equity to enable them to develop their potential and enjoy better living conditions.

The project "Empowerment of Adolescent Girls and Young Women through Education in Mali" is appreciative of the technical, conceptual and financial support and contributions of the Republic of South Korea through its International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), as well as those of UNFPA, UN Women, the Ministries of National Education, the Advancement of Women, Children and families, Vocational Training in Employment, Youth and Citizen Engagement, and Health and Social Affairs.

The project is also supported by civil society organizations active in the education and health sectors; as well as UNESCO's specialized institutes: International Bureau of Education (IBE), International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), UNESCO International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa (IICBA), and the Multisectoral Regional Office for West Africa (Sahel).
