The purpose of Global MIL Week is to promote MIL connections across cultures, peoples, educational institutions, organizations, policies, professions, initiatives and nations. Global MIL Week is led by UNESCO in collaboration with the UNESCO initiated Global Alliance for Partnerships on MIL (GAPMIL) and the UNESCO-UNAOC UNITWIN MIL and Intercultural Dialogue (MILID) University Network. The feature event is the 6th Conference of the UNESCO-UNAOC UNITWIN MILID Network and the inauguration of the first General Assembly of GAPMIL.
This Global Call invites all stakeholders to join in the celebration. Beginning in June, we are launching a 6-month campaign to promote MIL across the world, in a build-up to the Global MIL Week celebrations that will take place in Brazil from November 2nd – 5th 2016.
Celebrate with us! Tell us how and where you promote Media and Information Literacy (MIL).
