Comprometidos is the initiative for youth in Latin America and the Caribbean aged between 18-29, that want to solve environmental, social and economic problems in their communities and also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.

15 ideas from over 700 submitted to the platform will be travelling to Buenos Aires for an Acceleration Week where the young men and women participating will receive workshops and tools to deepen their projects.

Comprometidos seeks to support and give visibility to innovative and creative proposals of young people from Latin America, to solve social, economic and environmental problems, within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals agenda, linking them at the same time with their community.

It seeks to promote innovative youth initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the communities, to social inclusion and to the strengthening of the leading role of young people. For the fifth time, young people from all over Latin America, between 18 and 29 years old, will be invited to generate positive social impact, be leaders of change, sensitize others and improve their communities together by collaborating in the 17 SDGs.

Estamos comprometidos is structured in 4 stages: Idea reception (May 2nd - June 30th), Deepening (July 1st-31st), Cocreation (Sptember 1st-30th) and Acceleration Week (November 11th-15th).

From all the ideas proposed the finalists travel to Buenos Aires for a week of workshops aimed at helping them accelerate their projects. This is the Comprometidos finale, what is called Acceleration Week

Comprometidos is organized in the context of the UNESCO Operational Strategy on Youth, especially Axis 3: Civic engagement, democratic participation and social innovation.
