World Arabic Language Day – Concert
World Arabic Language Day is celebrated every year on 18 December. On this occasion, Aedh Yousef, Saudi singer, will be performing an Oriental concert at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, in Room I, on 18 December 2018.
Aedh Yousef will be accompanied by a group of eight musicians.
This performance aims to carry the message of peace, safety and harmony, resonating with the values promoted by UNESCO for interreligious dialogue and peace.
Round Tables on Arabic Language and youth (18 December) will also be organized.
This celebration also resonates with the International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2013-2022), for which UNESCO is the lead UN Agency.
