The workshop will provide essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the Grand People’s Study House's staff as well as for staff from provincial libraries and other relevant organizations. This event will build the capacity of the participants in strategizing the initiated digitalization process of the GPSH’s collections and taking advantage of best-practices as per the Vancouver Declaration on “MoW in the Digital Age: Digitization and Preservation” as well as the MoW’s Digitization Guidelines.

It will have session on:
- creating an E-library/digital-library;
- strategies and best-practices for digitalization, preserving antique documents, digitalizing, cataloguing;
- database creation and maintenance for digital libraries, managing
server/backup for digital libraries both in terms of hardware and software;
- strategies to providing access to provincial libraries according to information sharing best-practices.
