UNESCO New Delhi Office is holding an Online Panel Discussion to identify the factors contributing to low participation, motivation and achievement of girls in subject selection, participation and learning outcomes in STEM and interventions that encourage girls’ engagement and achievement in STEM fields. This is joint activity conducted by the Education and Science Sector.

The discussion aims to provide relevant point of views for evidence-based planning, building strong foundations for #STEM4HER and ideas for increasing participation rate in STEM subjects. 

The results of the discussion will be collected and shared with relevant STEM stakeholders. The overall objective of STEM4HER is to improve girls’ participation and learning achievements in STEM subjects and encourage girls to pursue a career in STEM related fields.
