Webinar #6 for Latin America. Culture and education: Harnessing the power of culture in times of crisis

The seminar will be held in Spanish

This sixth edition of the seminar series was facilitated by UNESCO and was jointly organized by the Regional Education Group for Latin America and the Caribbean - Risk Management, Disasters and Migration. The event was held in Spanish through the Zoom platform andl featured presentations by representatives from countries in the region, expert panelists and the facilitating organization. The online event was aimed at professionals from the Ministries of Education and Culture who work in the educational response, actors from the humanitarian, cultural and educational sector in general.

Objectives:

• To discuss how culture, arts and heritage can be harnessed in this crisis context.
• To share initiatives and experiences associated with education, the arts and cultural heritage that are being carried out in the region.
