pv.klenner@unesco.orgRegional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago), in collaboration with the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Education Group for Risk Management, Disasters and Migration has launched the web seminar series "Leave no one behind in the time of COVID-19". In this framework, we invite you to discuss preparation for the reopening of schools based on public health sector evidence and guided by the principle of the best interests of children and adolescents. We will also discuss the key dimensions for preparing, planning and implementing reopening, such as: safe operations, learning, inclusion of the most vulnerable, and protection, and how policies and funding should accompany these dimensions.
This fourth webinar for Latin America will be facilitated by UNICEF and Save the Children and is jointly organized by the Regional Office of Education for Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago) and the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Education Group for Risk Management, Disasters and Migration, co-led by UNICEF and Save the Children.
The event will be held in Spanish through OREALC/UNESCO Santiago's Zoom platform and Youtube channel and will feature presentations by expert panelists, as well as by the facilitating organizations.
