UNESCO, ICOM and ICCROM organize a RE-ORG course for Madagascar Museums

Professionals from ten national museums in Madagascar will learn about preventive conservation of museum collections through inventories and the re-organisation of reserves during a "Re-Org" course from 11 to 21 June 2019.
UNESCO, in partnership with the International Council of Museums (ICOM), National Committee in Madagascar and the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) will launch a "Re-Org" training course for 30 museum professionals from 10 national museums in Madagascar to learn about preventive conservation of museum collections through inventories and the re-organisation of reserves. The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Communications and the Embassy of Japan in Madagascar, and is taking place at the Andafiavaratra Palace from 11 to 21 June 2019.
