The training is aimed at policy makers, decision-makers, public managers and Government Chief Information Officers (GCIO) responsible for planning, managing and sustaining Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Electronic Governance (EGOV) initiatives. Participants to the training will be drawn from Uganda Technology and Management University, National Information Technology Authority and the Center for Electronic Governance. This training falls under UNESCO’s ongoing activity of reinforcing the international and national outreach of Information for All Programme (IFAP) among Member States in elaborating and implementing national information policy frameworks for universal access to information.
