Marie Prchalova at m.prchalova@unesco.orgCooperation, management and communication are considered the highest priorities for the future management of Biosphere Reserves. A tool kit for Biosphere Reserves (BR) will be the subject of the training workshop for the Republic of Moldova and Romania that will be held in Cahul with the support of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, Venice (Italy).
Particular attention will be paid to the process of establishing a biosphere reserve in the Lower Prut area, strengthening transboundary cooperation with Romania and paving the way for a potential expansion of the existing Danube Delta transboundary biosphere reserve.
