SIDA funded project Annual Review Meeting
UNESCO Maputo Office in close collaboration with Regional AIDS Support Team for Eastern and Southern Africa is organizing a an annual review meeting on the project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The project focuses on SRH & HIV prevention among children and young people (5-18 years) through comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) in Eastern and Southern Africa.
This meeting is related to the implementation of the regional project on the Scaling up of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) funded by SIDA.
The overall objective of the workshop is to review project implementation to-date and focus on re-prioritization towards high impact interventions for the remainder of 2015.
This meeting will assemble participants from eight SIDA project focus countries (Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia) and nine networking countries (Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe).
During the two days meeting, a one day field visit is planned to Chibututuine Teacher Training Institute and to the Annex (Primary School of Chibututuine) on 24th June.
