Seventh Ordinary Meeting of the Administrative Council of the International Fund for the Promotion of Culture (IFPC)

The IFPC Administrative Council will hold its annual meeting on 26-27 March 2018 at UNESCO Headquarters. The main points on the agenda are the election of the President; the follow-up to Executive Board decision 202 EX/13; the use of the financial resources of the IFPC; and the Fund’s communication and fundraising activities.
During this annual 2-day meeting, the Administrative Council will elect a new President and discuss the follow-up to Executive Board decision 202 EX/13, including the finalization of the questionnaire to be sent to Member States in order to assess the future of the IFPC before taking a final decision. The Administrative Council will also consider the revised budget for 2018 and the provisional budget for 2019. The Administrative Council is comprised of the following 8 members: Mr Roman Bělor (Czech Republic), Ambassador Mary M. Khimulu (Kenya), Mr Nureldin Satti (Sudan), Ambassador Luisa Rebeca Sanchez Bello (Venezuela), Mr Ramezanali Vasheghani Farahani (Iran), Ms Maria Elisa Velazquez Guiterrez (Mexico), Mr Dominique Roland (France) et Ms Naima Lahbiil (Moroco).
