Second regional meeting of the UNESCO-KFIT Project “ICT Transforming Education in Africa”
In the framework of the UNESCO-KFIT project “ICT Transforming Education in Africa”, a meeting is convened in Kigali to allow teams from the three beneficiary countries (Mozambique, Rwanda and Zimbabwe) and UNESCO programme specialists to assess the progress of the project, exchange on experiences and best practices and prepare for the final stage of implementation of the project.
The project "ICT Transforming Education in Africa" has entered the second half of its implementation period.
The main purpose of the meeting is to facilitate peer-learning and share experiences and best practices regarding the implementation of the UNESCO-KFIT project, with a focus on the main project components (e-school model development, e-assessment, ICT teacher training, Open and Distance e-Learning, ICT policy development and IFAP). Participants will also have the chance to explore synergies and possibilities to collaborate and share resources on the various project components. By the end of the meeting, participants will be better equipped to ensure the efficient implementation of the project during the second half of the implementation period.
