Safe and Ethical Cyberspace, digital assets and risk: How to assess the intangible impacts of a growing phenomenon?
The 14th Edition of the World Conference on Intellectual Capital (IC) for Communities co-organized by UNESCO and its Intergovernmental Information for All programme (IFAP), the University Paris-Sud and the European Chair on Intellectual Capital will take place on 14 to 15 June 2018 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. Held under the theme “Safe and Ethical Cyberspace, digital assets and risk: How to assess the intangible impacts of a growing phenomenon?” with a Regional Focus on France and Germany, the Conference will bring together international speakers which will look at the issues discussed during the earlier IC sessions from different angles: geographical, institutional and professional.
The proposed themes to the agenda for this year are: modeling and valuing data as digital assets, data and cloud computing business models, analyzing cyber risks and measuring their impacts, valuing cyber risks, analyzing platforms and hybrid organizations, intangibility and digitality.
Some of the recurrent topics of the IC Conference series will also be addressed, such as innovation policy, information sharing, knowledge transfer, measurement, valuation and reporting, as well as the next research and policy agenda for intangibles and intellectual capital.
