The project “Renewing the “Ex-Yugoslav” Pavilion in Auschwitz-Birkenau” was launched in 2011 in the framework of UNESCO’s global initiative “Culture: a Bridge to Development”. The project aims at transforming part of this unique World Heritage memorial into a learning and exchange forum on the Holocaust by means of innovative narratives, interpretations and museographical display.
