This publication, to which the Slave Route project has contributed, focuses on two topics: <br />- new directions for teaching the history of the slave trade and slavery, <br />- the psychological consequences of slavery. <br /><br />The book will be presented by its editor, Professor Paul E. Lovejoy (former Director of the Harriet Tubman Institute, Canada, and former member of the Scientific Committee of the Slave Route project) and the Harriet Tubman Institute in Canada
