In partnership with the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS), UNESCO organizes an international expert meeting in Doha (Qatar), from 16 to 17 September 2015. This meeting is a follow-up to the 5th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS V), held in 2013, and will focus on the fight against the manipulation of sports competitions.

This event aims to take stock of measures taken by Member States in the area of the manipulation of sports competitions, since the Declaration of Berlin adopted by MINEPS V in 2013.

It also aims to propose concrete actions to improve the fight against manipulation of sports competitions at national and international levels.

The aim of this meeting is twofold. Firstly of all, it will map measures introduced by Member States since the adoption of the Declaration of Berlin by MINEPS V in 2013 and specifically in the area of sport integrity.

Secondly, it will determine concrete actions to foster the fight against the manipulation of sports competitions in the areas of the dialogue and cooperation, information sharing, resourcing models and prevention.
