The meeting “Governance at UNESCO: the role of the Executive Board”, organized within the framework of the series of events held pursuant to the Executive Board’s Decision on “UNESCO at 70 and Future Prospects” (194 EX/Decision 31), will take place on Monday 16 March 2015 in Room X, at 3 p.m.
This meeting follows the fruitful exchange during the first meeting on this same topic, held on 31 October last with Mr Martin O’Malley, Inspector-General of the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria and Mr Hervé-Adrien Metzger, Director of the External Audit of UNESCO.
Mr Ray Leki, Director of the Transition Centre of the Foreign Service Institute of the United States government, will be the facilitator on this occasion.
Simultaneous interpretation of the proceedings is provided in English and French.
This meeting with Board members is open to other Permanent Delegations, Observers and designated Secretariat staff.
