The preparation of the IMP for Lumbini is one of the five key components of the project: "Strengthening the Conservation and Management of Lumbini, the Birthplace of the Lord Buddha” that is being implemented by the UNESCO Kathmandu Office in close cooperation with the Department of Archaeology and Lumbini Development Trust.
