On 21 July 2014 a meeting will be held at the UNESCO Cluster Office for Central America in San José (Costa Rica) with a group of bioethicists and bioengineering experts from La Salle University and Rice University.
The activity aims to reflect on the work of bioethics and biomedical research in the context of the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights, a must in research processes and scientific and technological development.
This meeting is taking place in the context of the call for advice that UNESCO has issued regarding the Revision of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Status of Scientific Researchers (1974).
