Organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Max Weber, German sociologist and philosopher (1864-1920, the lecture will be held in French with simultaneous interpretation into English and give an introduction into a fundamental part of Weber’s work: the discovery, by comparison between Europe and the non-European world, of a plurality of rationalization processes.
