Launching regional event for Latin America & the Caribbean. EFA Global Monitoring Report 2015: Achievements and challenges
This document, developed yearly by an independent team and published by UNESCO, is an internationally renowned reference with the objective of reporting on, influencing and upholding the Education for All (EFA) commitments. The report evaluates the progress on the achievement of the six EFA objectives established and ratified by over 160 countries in Dakar, Senegal, in the year 2000. In that framework, the report explains the advances, highlights effective policy reforms and good practices in all of the EFA work areas, mentioning the new challenges and trends. It also seeks to promote international cooperation for education.
The report is aimed at the national and international decision-makers in education, to the Ministries of Education an all those that promote the right to a quality education for all: teachers, civil society, NGOs, researchers and others.
The regional event for Latin America and the Caribbean will take place on 9, April, in the Senate Room of the former National Congress of Chile, in Morande 441, Santiago.
