Launch of Regional Report: "Young People Today. Time to Act Now."
"Why adolescents and young people need comprehensive sexuality education and sexual and reproductive health services in Eastern and Southern Africa". A new UNESCO report will be launched 4 October presenting data and recommendations on the health and education status of adolescents and young people in Eastern and Southern Africa.
The report has been prepared in partnership with UNAIDS, UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO and represents the launch of a regional campaign to engage ministers of health and education to commit to bold action for the benefit of adolescents and young people in their countries.
