Foundation for the next era of growth
Scientist officers from all over the world will gather from 9-12 June 2014 in Montreal, Canada. The goal of the Conference is to discuss, compare and challenge strategic approaches used by different countries and networks to establish high level scientific priorities aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of their citizens. UNESCO is part of this gathering and is represented by its Assistant Director-General for the Natural Sciences Sector ad interim.
The Conference of Montreal, founded in 1995 by the International Economic Forum of the Americas, is committed to heightening knowledge and awareness of the major issues concerning economic globalization with a particular emphasis on the relations between the Americas and other continents.
