“UNESCO GREEN CITIZENS: Pathfinders for Change” is an exhibition which aims to pay tribute to the men and women who give life to educational projects for sustainable development worldwide.
Through eight emblematic educational projects, the “UNESCO GREEN CITIZENS: Pathfinders for Change” exhibition reveals the talent and determination of these pathfinders who, though often modest, are crucial actors for change.

This traveling exhibition will be presented on the UNESCO headquarters external fences from October 1st to October 31st 2015, but also inside the ‘Climate Train’ – an initiative developed by the French National Railway Company (SNCF) in order to raise awareness amongst the general public about major issues related to climate change leading up to the COP21 – from October 6 to October 25, as well as at the UNESCO space at Le Bouget from November 30 to December 11 during the COP21.

Besides the exhibition, the UNESCO GREEN CITIZENS project also provides a platform for the exchange of experiences to enable educators from all around the world to share their projects on education for sustainable development.
