As part of UNESCO’s multifaceted capacity-building strategy, the UNESCO Office in Beirut is holding an Ethics Teacher Training Course (ETTC) from 30 November to 3 December 2016 in its premises in Beirut.

This training course is organized in coordination with the Lebanese National Consultative Committee for Ethics (LNCCE), and aims to:

- Introduce the participants to the means and resources of teaching ethics;

- Teach the participants the methodologies and methods of teaching ethics; and

- Assess and provide feedback on the participants’ demonstrations of teaching skills under the guidance of experienced teachers.

ETTC is conducted by a team of international experts with extensive experience in ethics education and offers a unique opportunity for participants from Lebanon and from other countries in the region to enhance their teaching capacities in ethics.

The participation in the course is free.

An ideal candidate for the course is a holder of a Master’s or higher degree (in areas such as law, medicine, philosophy, ethics, or social sciences), with current experience or future plans of teaching ethics or bioethics, and a good command of French language.
