DIPECHO project regional meeting. Strategies for the development of national risk management through education and science

National capacity development strategies on risk management systems and civil protection prepared by governing bodies in the field will be presented. The event will also feature an analysis of academic programmes for pre-service and continuing teacher training in integrated risk management, developed in coordination with national risk management and civil protection systems.

A sub-regional agenda for capacity development in disaster risk management will also be prepared, and informative and training material prepared by UNESCO alongside its national counterparts under the DIPECHO project will be distributed.
