Philippe Pypaert at p.pypaert@unesco.orgCooperation of the Danubian countries in the area of hydrology started in 1961, hosting the first conference on hydrological forecast in Budapest. The XXVIIth conference, in a series of biennial conferences alternatingly held by the Danubian countries, is now planned.
The event is organized jointly by the Bulgarian National Committee for the International Hydrological Programme of UNESCO and National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology-BAS, Sofia, Bulgaria, with the support of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, Venice (Italy)
